10 Lines on “Investiture Ceremony”

1. DPS, Greater Noida, organised the Investiture Ceremony of Bharat Scouts and Guides in the school auditorium.
2. The ceremony was held to promote the mottos of the movement – Service to others, Be prepared and do your best.
3. Students presented three pyramid formations, each highlighting the three mottos of the movement.
4. In her welcome speech, school principal, Renu Chaturvedi highlighted the importance of such meaningful training programmes for the younger generations.
5. The principal also hoped that camps and jamborees of Scouts and Guides activities would provide great learning experience.
6. The Scouts’ flag was unfurled by school vice-chairman, as the assembled scouts and guides rendered the flag song in unison.
7. Distinguished guests along with the scouts’ teachers pinned badges, knotted scarves and applied tilak on the students.
8. The teachers administered the oath to the congregation, calling upon them to do their best for the country and towards the well-being of others.
9. The ceremony aimed at instilling the values of leadership, discipline, and social responsibility among the students.
10. It was a proud moment for the school and the parents to witness their children taking up the responsibility of becoming Scouts and Guides.
