Do sheep grow wool every year?
In spring, when the weather is warm, the sheep’s wool is sheared off It comes off like a hide and is then rolled up. The wool is used to make yarn. The wool on the sheep’s body regrows like human hair. Its main function is to protect the sheep from cold weather.
