What is virgin wool?

Wool is sometimes used more than once as it is valuable. Old wool is recovered, cleaned and used again. To protect the interests of buyers, some governments made laws which laid down that woollen products should have a label showing the amount of wool, percentage of new, reprocessed or reused wool, etc. Virgin wool is wool that has not been used before.
