The opening ceremony of a mall

Millennium Mall opened on 25th October with a lot of fanfare. The entire mall was decorated with lights and famous Bollywood songs pelted out by singer Shailu Leher, kept everyone entertained.

A short aarti took place and then amidst much clapping and cheering, HemaMalini, a Bollywood actress cut the ribbon and the mall was opened to everybody. Sweets were distributed to everyone who had gathered to attend the opening ceremony of the mall. Mr. Sahil Goyal the owner of the mall gave a little speech thanking everyone for attending the opening.

The Millennium Mall’s lucky mascot “Chubby the bear” moved around swaying to the music and shaking hands with everyone. People were kept entertained by the clowns, jugglers and on the spot contests. The grand finale was a big Chevrolet car which was given to the lucky shopper of the day.
