Essay on “Work Is -Worship” for Students and Children, Best Essay, Paragraph, Speech for Class 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 in English Language.

Work Is -Worship

Man has to work to satisfy his desires. When he works sincerely, he gets success in life. When he works unenthusiastically, he is sure to fail. It is same in the case with worship. A worshipper worships with some purpose in mind. He wants to be free from sufferings and lead a happy life. He does not worry about the obstacles on the way. A worshipper can find God if he worships sincerely. Similarly, a worker can succeed if he works with dedication and honesty. Therefore, work and worship are alike in nature.

‘Action is the duty and reward is not the concern’ is the very important lesson that was imparted to Arjuna by Lord Krishna. This teaches us that we should work without worrying for the result. Good and hardworking people are always praised for their works and achievements. On the other hand, bad people are famous for their bad and wicked works. Such people are cursed everywhere.

Both work and worship aim to end human sufferings. They try to create happiness. There is no life without work. Great personalities of the world have become famous because of their dedication towards work. Such was the case with Indian freedom fighters.

Until we make an effort, we cannot even eat or drink. Life is dull and boring without work. Life becomes useful if we always work. Work must be done as we worship our God. Work must be the main aim of our life. Idleness, laziness and dullness must be thrown out of our lives. The successful businessperson knows the value of his time and work. He devotes himself completely to his work.

Dissatisfaction and uncertainty are nothing but the curse of life. Fortunes favour the brave. Brave people are always famous and rewarded. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Swami Vivekananda, Swami Dayanand Saraswati, Mahatma Gandhi and many more bravely sacrificed themselves for the cause of their works. Certainly, work was worship for them.

Our first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru always encouraged the idea of work is worship. Such dedicated people in society inspire the life of other people in true sense. They worship their work first and everything else later. Thus, work must be worshipped in our life, because without work our life will be aimless.

Working too much is bad. “All work and no play make Jack a dull boy”. Thus, we should work as well as recreate ourselves for some time. Work is a blessing to humanity. However, wicked works like starting war, smuggling, gambling, robbing, black-marketing, etc. is not worshipped. Work, which is done for the welfare of human beings and society, is worshipped.
