Tolerance Makes Life Simpler

A travelling priest landed in a city one night. Hotel accommodation was difficult to find. Finally, he managed to find a hotel room that he had to share with two others. All three were strangers to each other.

As soon as the lights were put out, one of them began snoring. The sounds spanned an entire musical scale and they were loud and dreadful. The priest could not sleep a wink.

Two to three hours after midnight, the snoring man turned over, gave a hideous groan, and became silent. The priest supposed the third man to be asleep, but then he heard him exclaim…
