Valley of Flowers National Park
Located in the western Himalayan region, the Valley of Flowers covers an expanse of 87.5 km. The original valley of flowers in India, which is situated in the Bhyundar Valley at an elevation of 3,658 meters above sea level, is a picturesque place that becomes accessible in May when the snow begins to melt. The valley is dressed in 500 of the prettiest flowering species known to the Himalayas in the months of July and August. Added to this is the cascading waterfalls that intersect the valley making it truly picture-perfect.
