A Special Secret Place

Sometimes, I want to be alone, to share my sorrows, my victories, my joys, and my losses with no one. It is momentary but is my moment of truth; something that I have enjoyed ever since I discovered my special secret place a few years ago.

When I want to hum to myself the little new tune I made up, or when I’m angry with how my day has been; when I want to cuddle up with my kitten, or when I want to talk to God, I find my ‘corner’ the best place to be in. It gives me comfort, warmth, solace, and the satisfaction of no one trespassing on my personal space. When I don’t want to admit a mistake in front of others, I go there to say my ‘sorry’ and come back feeling lighter. Mummy never tries to find out my secret place and lets me be when I disappear there. Try to find your own secret place and experience the magical feeling.
