Bringing a Change in India
We realize that a change needs to be brought to India but turn a blind eye to our common problems. There are innumerable aspects that are screaming for immediate attention but public and government apathy is causing our structure to fall apart. Firstly, we Indians have to realize that government alone cannot give us better living conditions. We, the people have to contribute too by way of paying taxes, taking care of the public property, and considering this country our own. The others are graver and relate to the people directly such as controlling the population, ensuring that our children get a decent education, avoiding wastage of precious natural and man-made resources, and eliminating corruption.
To tide over these problems, the citizens must inculcate honesty, responsibility, and national pride them be fare expecting it from anyone else. Develop compassion, patience, accountability in oneself as also a need for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene when in a public place. This sensitization has to happen from within and can help India change into a self-reliant and self-dependent country both economically and militarily.
