How To Relax When Angry
We would be lying if we said we never get angry. However, some of us control our anger and relax much better than others. Doing so is extremely critical as anger is our greatest enemy. It makes us lose control over our body and emotions, and more often than not, say or do things that we regret later.
Many spiritual teachers have spoken of the art of relaxing when angry. Anger damages our bodies and upsets body balance. Some suggested ways of control are breathing exercises, meditation, quitting the fight scene for the moment, clasping the hands together and consciously not raising our voice. Developing an understanding for fellow humans and accepting them with their deficiencies also helps in anger control. One must appreciate that since we ourselves are not perfect but love ourselves and accept our own follies as forgivable, so should be the case with others’ mistakes
