A picnic by the lake
The setting sun casts a lovely glow on the waters of lake Saroveer. Mom chose a shady spot behind the lake to sit and we quickly gobbled our snacks. We played Frisbee for a while and then threw some pebbles across the lake and watched them skim the lake surface
There were little paddle boats and several row boats. pad bought us tickets for the row boats. I wanted to row so I took one oar while Dad took the other. Mom and Vanessa sat down. It looked easy but it was not. The oar was big and I was unable to even lift it. I tried several times, and then handed it over to Mom. With MOM and Dad rowing, soon we were in the middle of the lake. The sun had already set and the moon had made an appearance. It was dark and the waters reflected the shimmering moonlight. We enjoyed the quiet for some time before Dad and Mom rowed us back.
Lake Saroveer is my favorite picnic spot. I hope Dad takes us there again soon.
