Adverbs

A word that gives more information about a verb, an adjective or another adverb is called an adverb. Adverbs describe verbs, adjectives, and adverbs in terms of qualities such as time, frequency, and manner.

eg: Marina eats fast. Here fast describes the verb eats. Hence it is an adverb. Marina eats very fast. Here very describes the adverb fast telling you how fast. This is an adverb too.

Adverbs of time tell us when something happens.
