I bumped in to Laloo Prasad Yadav
We were travelling to Mangalore first class. Mom wanted me to buy some water from the railway platform so I moved to the door.
Suddenly, two muscular men armed with guns entered the compartment and they pushed past nine. The door was blocked by too many people, and I was pushed back in by a short man trying to get in. It was none other than the most known face of Indian politics, Mr. Laloo Prasad Yaday. I couldn’t believe it. He gave me his customary broad smile and apologized. I was unable to get out as the train gave a lurch and started.
Laloo Prasad was followed by his supporters who quickly made themselves comfortable. Mr. Laloo Prasad sat down opposite us and we felt so privileged to have the Indian Railway Minister for company. The entire journey, he regaled us with humorous tales of his different experiences. It was truly an unexpected encounter.
