I Love My School

A school is a temple of learning. Children come here to learn things. They spend the formative period of life at a school. Only a good school imparts quality education. My school is a school of this type. Its name is Government School.

My school is located at an ideal place. It is neither too far nor too near to the town. It is housed in a beautiful building. It has twenty five class-rooms and a big hall. The rooms are airy and well-furnished. Principal’s office is just in front of the main gate. There is a separate staff-room for the teaching-staff. The school has a canteen of its own. It supplies not only tea and snacks but also items of stationery.

There are one thousand students in our school. It is a co-educational school. There is perfect discipline in our school. The students are obedient to their teachers. They strictly follow the code of conduct laid out for them. They actively take part in every function held in the school. The school is known for its results all over the state.

The school gives no less importance to games. There are big playgrounds for major games. The school campus is spotted with grassy lawns. A rich variety of flowers grow in them. The gardeners work hard to maintain them. Our Principal takes special interest in keeping things spick and span. He takes a daily round of the campus.

The atmosphere in the school is really helpful to studies. The admission is given purely on the basis of merit. The library has a rich stock of books. The laboratories are equipped with the latest apparatus. Special stipends and scholarships are given to brilliant students. The motto of the school is- ‘learn and serve humanity.
