Never on time
Shrinivas was the most intelligent boy in class. He always stood first but he had one bad habit; he did not value time. He came to school late practically every day.
One day, Shrinivas got selected to represent the school in a debate contest. There was a week of practice before the contest and Shrinivas came late for practice every day. The other participants kept nagging him not to let them down on the competition day. However, Shrinivas promised them he would be on time on the competition day.
The day of the contest Shrinivas was ready an hour early. He didn’t want to reach so early so he decided to read the newspaper. He got so engrossed in the paper, he lost track of time. When he remembered an hour had passed. He reached school tofind that the debating team had left without him. He began to cry and promised himself that he would never take time lightly again.
