Unconditional Love
The mention of unconditional love almost immediately brings the picture of parents in mind. This is because parent – child is the only relationship in which love flows from parent to child unconditionally and unfortunately, it is not vice versa in most cases.
Unconditional love means to love someone no matter what. To love in good times and bad, to love even when the person in question has erred and is remorseless, to love even when the person does not reciprocate, in short, to love limitlessly with no “ifs”. This does not mean that you agree with the person if he is wrong- it means that you love him and will try to get him to do what is right and will keep trying till you succeed. Basically, you will condemn the deed, not the person. Since this kind of love is selfless, patient and so forgiving, I can see it only in that one relationship. In all other relationships, a certain amount of selfishness does creep in and rightfully so, to an extent, because nobody will want to be the accepting one always.
The only other relationship of such love is perhaps, that from a dog to his master. Dogs are loyal to a fault which makes them so endearing. To be at the receiving end of unconditional love is the greatest blessing from above.
