How do primates communicate with each other?

Touch is a way of communication among primates. They can be seen grooming each other and picking ticks. Howler monkeys call loudly to mark their turf. Some others have brightly coloured faces and bottoms which are displayed during courtship or to frighten away enemies. Gorillas thump on the ground to warn rivals or beat their chests and roar to show their power.
