Were there surgeries in ancient times?

Surgeries have been performed in ancient times too but the surgical instruments were rather primitive. Flints were used for surgeries and even a dangerous procedure like opening the skull has been performed with it. The teeth of fish and sharp thorns were also used. Saws for amputation were made of flint and bones.
