Road Blocks To Life

There are many road blocks to life, of which some are beyond our control, while others may be avoided. Either ways, only a positive attitude can help us overcome these hindrances which make our life bumpy and interesting.

Setbacks in the form of accidents leading to loss of property or worse, any disability or death of a loved one are beyond our control. No matter how careful we are, there is always a chance of such mishaps occurring. Still other setbacks, like a low in our career or unsuccessful relationships are often experienced. These, to an extent, may be avoided if we change our approach, without having to change our value system. The worst block we suffer is a mental block, a self-created block against situations, people or even towards change. The only person who can help us out of this is I, Me, Myself! It is the toughest road block —an inability o- accept—our shortcomings, an inability to suppress our ego and an inability to accept things as they are. Our happiness, our progress and our well being lies in overcoming this one road block.

Change of perspective can help us turn a road block into an opportunity. Life is beautiful even as it is ugly! We need to be sad in order to know happiness. This is the paradox of life.
