Ratan Tata personally visited each one of the employees who were affected. Monetary compensation was handed out and ‘a teary Ratan Tata said that it was these people who owned Tata. Tata employees say that they are not trained to behave in a particular manner, but that it has to do with the DNA of the organisation and the way the Tata culture has always existed and been nurtured.
