Watching, a cricket match

Dad took us on Sunday to watch the cricket match being played between Calcutta Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians. It was a dream come true for me.

Morn and I are fans of Mumbai Indians while Dad and Rohan are fans of Knight Riders. It was our first time at the stadium. I watched with big eyes as I saw Tendulkar a few metres away take his stance at the crease. At the other end was Jayasurya. I couldn’t believe it; I was here within touching distance of two of the world’s best batsmen ever.

The entire match was like a big dream except it was real and Mumbai Indians defeated Knight Riders by fifty runs. Watching Tendulkar pelt those effortless sixes and Jayasurya wield the bat as if it were a music baton was awesome. I stood for the most part of the match screaming “Mumbai Indians” till I was hoarse. Mumbai Indians won the match and me and mom felt like stars that day.
