Doing Homework

Homework is, work assigned to be done at home.

It helps you remember what you learned at school. Mom makes us spend two hours every day doing homework. I would much rather play football with my friends than do homework but I live in the fear that the homework will pile and then I won’t be able to play at all. When I do my homework listening to music it doesn’t feel so much like a task.

This term, I did my homework regularly. When the exams were round the corner I was the only one cool as a cucumber while all my other classmates were busy studying. I had time to revise and I could go out to play for an hour on examination days too. I fared better in the exams because I was well prepared so I think my mom is right in saying “Doing homework regularly really pays.”
