The Value Of Time

Time is an asset which is yours to use. If you do not value it, it is your loss. Having been a part of the Armed Forces, punctuality is second nature to me. If I ever end up late, there had better be a good reason for I do not appreciate people who do not value time and do not accept it from myself either. Sometimes a minute or even a second can turn tables and change your life forever.

I read an interesting article recently which described the importance of time with an example. It said that if you had the services of a bank which credited a large sum into your account every morning which you could draw within 24 hours but if unused, you could not save it, what would you do? Simple. You would draw every single paisa before the stipulated time. Time is that bank and the seconds are the deposit. If you use it, you succeed, if you do not, it does not come back ever again.

We have only one life and what a beautiful thing life is. It is but natural that we want to live it to the fullest. Our life span is nothing but time that we possess, to experience all that this world has to offer. Wasted time never comes back. Is it not rather foolish then, to while away time?
