An Outing at an Amusement Park

Huge parks where people go to enjoy and have rides on large machines such as roller coaster are known as amusement and theme parks. In a theme park, much of the entertainment is connected with one particular subject or an idea.

On last Sunday, my family decided to have an outing in one of the local amusement parks. When I reached there, I saw people of all ages, shapes, interests and sizes in huge numbers. Here I discovered a fantasy world.

I stepped out from tiresome and dull routine through the gates of wonderful amusement park. For a short while, I forget everything and enjoyed like a small child. It assured to provide all the thrills and dangers of adventure that were not available in routine life. It offered various things that were worth the price of a ticket.

I experienced wild rides that were twisting, dipping, now fast, then slow. Sometimes they were breath taking. Rides in such parks appeared very unsafe. However, every ride was supervised under a professional guidance and care. For a few minutes, I lived on the edge of danger, but always with the knowledge that safety was only inches and seconds away.

There were friendlier rides available for the children of all ages. It was beautiful, clean and true-to-life amusement park. Everything appeared attractive, bright and colourful. Rides and other amusements ended before boredom could set in. There were rides that took people through different cultures, monuments of different countries, fantasy worlds and even into a frightening outer space. These rides were always done with the complete surety of a safe return. The roller coaster ride was one of the main attractions at the park.

Of lesser importance, but still effective for the popularity of amusement park, was the availability of delicious food of many different types. Exotic local and foreign cuisines were served at reasonable prices. This pleased me to spend the entire day in such a park. After I visited this amusement park all my stress, worries and longings of everyday life diapered.
