Mysterious cave paintings in Chhattisgarh
In 2014, archaeologist J.R. Bhagat and his team from Chhattisgarh discovered that cave paintings dating back to the same period as the paintings in Bhimbetka, in Kanker district of Bastar, depict what appear to be “aliens” and UFOs. The Chhattisgarh government plans to request ISRO and NASA to help them decode the paintings that some local people worship. They narrate the stories their elders told them of”rohelas” or dwarf-like people who would “land from the sky in round flying objects and take away one or two humans who were never seen again.”
Photographs of cave paintings show figures holding weapon-like objects. Their facial features are not clear as the nose and mouth seem to be missing. Their costumes resemble space suits as we know them today!
It remains to be seen if these pictures are of “seen” or imagined” beings that our ancestors painted.
