Most privately owned museums

Ahmedabad, in Gujarat, boasts of some of the most diverse privately owned museums in the country. Apart from the world-renowned Kite Museum and the Calico Museum, which has a rare collection of textiles, there are the Lalbhai Dalpatbhai Museum of Indology, the Utensils Museum, and the Shreyas Museum of Folk Art.
