Shata Tantri Veena
The Santoori in Greece and the Santoor played in Iran, Iraq, and Turkey are very similar to the hundred-stringed santoor, now played mostly in Kashmir. One of the oldest known string instruments in India, the original Sanskrit name for the santoor was ‘Shata Tantri Veena’.
