Autobiography of A Pen Key

I was born in a pen factory. My name ‘Executive -Parker’ was tattooed on me. Though painful, I was happy to get a name. I was given a high gloss chrome finish and a blue refill. My little home — a click open box- was also lined with blue velvet.

Once displayed in the showroom, I awaited my master. Two days later, an imposing lady walked in, seeking a gift for her illustrious student who had brought laurels to the school by winning the all-India declamation contest. She viewed the items on display and picked me up, examined me thoughtfully, and then paid for me! The manager quickly wrapped me in a beautiful paisley-print silver paper, complete with silver bows and a gift tag. I couldn’t wait anymore!

The next day in the school assembly, I was presented. to Rakshit. It was a very proud moment indeed. I now have a new home, Rakshit’s pencil box, and love to help him achieve success in all his endeavors.
