A tourist was strolling down a quiet street in an unfamiliar town when he saw a shop sign that said: “TRANQUILLITY SOLD HERE.” Curious, he entered to ask, “What products do you trade?”

“Oh, many things,” replied the shopkeeper. “We sell peace of mind, serenity, confidence, tranquillity, happiness, humility and all the other virtues that humans desire.”

“That is fantastic,” replied the tourist. “Business must be pretty good, then?”

“No, not as good as you would think. People are not prepared to pay the price.”

“Your prices must be very high! I suppose only the rich can afford your commodities.”

“No, everyone can afford it, but no one is interested in paying for it.”
