A visit to the doctor
One day at school we were playing cricket. Suddenly I started feeling giddy. Everything went black and I fainted.
I regained consciousness to find myself in the school infirmary surrounded by the doctor, nurse, and my class teacher. The doctor asked me how I was feeling. I felt a little weak and my head was aching. The doctor asked me what I had eaten in the morning. I remembered that I had left home without eating my breakfast. The doctor said that I had fainted because I had not eaten anything and I had got dehydrated because of the heat. Immediately they gave me a glass of orange juice and a sandwich to eat.
The moment I finished eating the sandwich I started feeling my energy return. They told me never to leave home without eating. I was lucky I had fainted in the school. If I had fainted on the road, anything could have happened. I promised the doctor never to skip breakfast again.
