Changing seasons and landscapes

Mumbai typically experiences three seasons: summer, monsoon and winter. Every season changes the landscape drastically.

Summer is typically very hot and sweaty and everyone is waiting for it to end. The humidity is high and the sun relentlessly heats up everything. Most of the plants are bare of leaves and the landscape looks parched.

The monsoon provides a welcome respite from the blistering summer heat. Suddenly, the landscape gets a makeover. Monsoons are heavy in Mumbai and they clean the city of all the grime it collects the whole year. Trees dance happily enjoying the cool rain. Roads wear a clean look with the occasional puddles.

Winters are short and really enjoyable. Flowers abound in this season. The cool bracing weather ascertains that festivals and family reunions are most enjoyable.
