Exercise to stay fit
Exercise keeps our body healthy and strong. It builds and maintains bones, joints and muscles.
There are different forms of exercise. Walking, jogging, swimming, aerobics, playing tennis, football, weight training are different forms of exercise. Yoga and Pilates are two other forms of exercise. While exercises like swimming, jogging and walking improve your endurance, weight training concentrates on improving the muscle strength. Yoga besides being good for overall fitness improves flexibility.
A good balance of all three kinds of exercise will ensure that we are healthy and fit. Alternating different forms of exercise keeps one from getting bored. I like to go for an early morning jog down the beach. It makes me feel fresh and also hungry for breakfast. It keeps me fit and boosts my self-esteem when I’m feeling sad.
