Morning prayers

Why should we say morning prayers?

• Thanking God.
• Asking God for his blessings.

Mummy says that praying in the morning is the best v to say good morning to God. She says that God loves children and loves to listen to their prayers.

I start my morning prayers thanking the Lord for the wonderful sleep that he let me have and for the beautiful dreams he lets me dream. Then I thank him for my wonderful parents and brother. Sometimes I even complain to God, especially when my elder brother won’t let me play cricket with his bat.

In the end, I ask God to bless me with his love and to forgive me for any wrong that I might unknowingly commit. I ask him to guide me through the day, to be my best friend, to keep an eye on me and keep me from harms way.
