Surfing the Internet

Ever since Dad got the Internet connection our lives have changed. First we used to quarrel over the television channels, now we quarrel over who is going to use the Internet.

There are many reasons I love the Internet but the first would have to be that it helps me do my homework. I like to chat with my friends using the windows messenger. Its nice cause Mom doesn’t badger us about how much our chatting is going to cost her. I am also part of many social networks on the Internet which makes it easy to keep in touch with all my friends.

Dad uses the net to keep in touch with his business colleagues and for Mom the Internet is her instant access to recipes. She even shops online. She says its saves time. Sometimes when no one wants to play with me I play online games and I don’t feel lonely anymore. The Internet has truly changed our lives for the better.
