Watching a Movie at a Shopping Cineplex

Christmas holidays had started in our school. one day my friends and I decided to spend some good time in a nearby Delzonian Shopping Complex. There was an adventurous movie of Chhota Bheem being played at the Cineplex. We planned to catch the 1.30 p.m. show.

We were out in search of some fun and enjoyment. We met at the entrance to the shopping center at about 12.30 p.m. The complex had opened about an hour ago. Already it was crowded with people. Most of them were teenagers like us.

On the ground floor was a huge stage that was being prepared for some magic show later on in the evening. Workers were busy decorating the background, setting up the props and lighting for the occasion. Someone was testing the public address system. As the sound coming from the giant speakers was too loud, we moved away from the stage. We rode the escalators up to the third floor where the Cineplex was.

A long queue had already formed in front of the ticket counter. One of my friends offered to get the tickets. We agreed and gave our money to him. Until he could get hold of the tickets, we decided to visit the food counters and buy some popcorn tubs and soft drink cans.

The queue grew longer before the ticket counter. We were lucky to have tickets on time. Judging by the length of the queue, there was a possibility that some of them were not going to get tickets.

As there was some time left for the movie to start, we decided to visit the nearby shops. We wandered into a stationary store. The store had many items offering a discount of 20% to 70%. I looked at some essay books but soon realized that I could not afford any of them despite the discount. My friends picked up some stationery but decided to put them back when they saw the long queue at the bill counter.

As the movie was just about to start, we left the store hurriedly. It was already 1.25. We walked to the entrance of the Cineplex. We gave the tickets to the attendant at the entrance. With popcorn and cold drinks in our hands, we walked into the Cineplex to enjoy the movie. It was a good experience of watching my favourite hero Chhota Bheem on a gigantic screen.
