The faith of a little child

A little girl came to the chemist and asked the chemist if he had a medicine called ‘Miracle’.

A doctor who happened to be standing by asked her why she needed this medicine. She said her brother was very ill and the doctor had said that only a “miracle” could save him. The doctor was impressed by the little girl’s faith and her love for her brother. He said to her that he had the medicine she required. She looked up at him sweetly and asked him if two pennies would cover the cost, the doctor smiled and said that it would, but he could give it only to her brother. She took him to her brother and the doctor made a few calls and arranged for the boy to be treated at his cost.

The boy recovered and his mother hugged the doctor could never repay his kindness. The little girl chimed in saying, “Mom you don’t have to, I’ve already paid the doctor 2 pennies for it”.
