My Game Boy

Most days when I am at home not studying you will find me with my eyes glued to the ‘Game Boy’, my fingers moving faster than a pianist’s. Mom equates my Game Boy to Mary’s, Little Lamb. Only the reverse is true. The lamb followed Mary but I follow the Game Boy.

Game Boy is a handheld video game console manufactured by Nintendo. I like to play cricket on my Game Boy. I play many games on the Game Boy. Cricket, soccer, hockey are just a few. I can play the Game boy for hours on end.

Mom doesn’t like seeing me with the Game Boy. Sometimes I get so engrossed playing it that my focus is only on the small screen and I do not pay heed to Mom. She says it will spoil my eyesight and I will have ruined thumbs. She is probably right, so I play Game Boy only on weekends and never for more than an hour.
