At the breakfast table

Breakfast at our home is special because it is the one time when all of us sit together.

Dad sits at the head of the table, a cup of tea in one hand and the newspaper in the other, while mom keeps shouting from the other end that the breakfast is getting cold. My brother and I dig away at our bowls of cornflakes while Sam our dog keeps sniffing the breakfast table hoping that someone might throw him some bacon.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it helps you have a great day. Eating breakfast makes me feel energetic and when my belly is full I am able to concentrate on my books. We end breakfast holding hands and thanking God for the wonderful food, he shared with us.
