Eating a light dinner

Mom says that one must eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper.

Dinner is the last meal of the day after which we go to sleep. Mom says that all the repair work in our body is done when we are sleeping. If we have a heavy dinner the body uses all its energy for digesting the food and this results in no energy for repair work. If we have a light dinner the body is easily able to focus all its energy on repair work and we get up feeling fresh and rejuvenated.

Dinner at our home is usually a salad with a soup. Morn never gives us heavy food in the night. In the morning we get up very hungry and have a huge breakfast consisting of omelet, bread and a cup of Bournvita.
