Flight Of Fantasy
Who wouldn’t want to revel in a flight of fantasy? Lewis Caroll made it big with his flight of fantasy in “Alice in Wonderland” which is my personal favourite. Life has its ups and downs, its highs and lows but everything that happens is for real and so, when we can take some time off and get into our own magical world, it really is refreshing.
I have always been a dreamer and I strongly believe that you can fulfill your dream only when you have one. My flights of fantasy take me to dizzying heights. I have donned the flattering roles of a doctor, an actor, a dancer and many others. I hope that I can put to use some of these fantasies by compiling them to make an interesting reading! I have to give credit to Enid Blyton who plays a crucial role in making my imagination unlimited. Her books made a deeper impression on me than fairy tales ever have.
When a person gets aboard his flight of fantasy he is opening myriad doors which might lead to something spectacular when he enters the real world again. S.T Coleridge’s opium induced poem “Kubla Khan” is an example of that. As long as we get back to our senses, flights of fantasy, once in a while, are welcome.
