My favorite teacher

Why is she special?

My favorite teacher is, Miss Sharon. She teaches us music. Her voice has a musical quality. When she walks in she greets us with a sing song “hello” and that sets the mood of the class. Miss Sharon is cheerful, kind and generous.

She has amazingly long fingers that glide along the piano keyboard as if the keys were buttered. She makes music fun by adding different hand and foot movements to it. Every year, she gets us to do the Christmas musical and the best part is that there is a part for everyone to sing. Everyone feels wanted and cared for in her class.

Miss Sharon encourages creativity. She helps us create our own songs and that’s what makes her really special. She reminds me of ‘Rip Van Winkle’ when she waves her music baton at us. We get sucked into a musical world where nothing else matters but melody.
